Fire up the grillAnniversary sale, cookout this weekend at Warehouse Patio By KRISTINE FORTUNATO This is the time of year that all grillers look forward to: when the weather warms and you can finally gather friends and family in the backyard, clean off the patio furniture, fire up the grill, and show off your skills as the worlds best barbeque chef. If this sounds familiar, Justin Carter, owner of Warehouse Patio, knows just how you feel. He will be ushering in the grilling season by hosting Warehouse Patios third annual anniversary sale and cookout May 8 at the Peachtree City store. Top-of-the-line grills will be in action as Abbott Turner from Charbroil serves up everything from old favorites like hotdogs and hamburgers to some things you might never have thought to put on the grill before, like pizza. Along with watching the grilling demonstrations and sampling the free food, visitors will be invited to test the many styles and varieties of furniture in the showroom as they enjoy their meal. Warehouse Patio is a 5,000-square-foot warehouse showroom featuring many different styles of patio furniture, sunroom furniture and grills. Opened by Justin Carter and his father Danny in 2001, Carter says this is a true family owned and operated business. My father and I started the store because there wasnt a big selection of outdoor furniture stores on the southside of Atlanta, Carter explained. We are the only location in Peachtree City to find true high quality outdoor furniture. Located on Ga. Highway 74 South, near Gil-roys hardware store, Warehouse Patio allows customers to browse through many different products in order to find the right pieces for them. Styles include wicker, aluminum, wood, cushioned, chairs that swivel, chairs that rock, glass top tables, and almost anything else you might need in a backyard. I love selling outdoor furniture to people who never realized that you can have outdoor furniture that will continue to function and look good for many years, Carter said. These are high quality pieces, and they are all very comfortable and meant to last. Along with furniture, Warehouse Patio also carries a full range of outdoor lighting, from torches to lampposts; hammocks, umbrellas, outdoor fireplaces, and a large collection of cushions, to ensure you find just the right color and pattern for your set. With warm weather upon us, grills are also a popular item at the store, and Carter says he has seen quite a few satisfied customers. Just last week I had a customer looking at grills, and we started discussing grilling methods and recipes. They ended up purchasing a grill, and the following week they called my wife at the store just to rave about the rib recipe I gave them, Carter said. So stop by Warehouse Patio on Saturday, May 8, for the stores third annual anniversary sale and cookout, and you just might pick up some tips and recipes for yourself. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the cookout being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Warehouse Patio is located at 459 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 770-631-9457 or visit www.warehousepatio.com.
