Man arrested for threat to kill wife A Newnan man was arrested by Peachtree City police Saturday for calling 911 and making a threat to kill his estranged wife. According to a warrant for his arrest, Clint Freeman, 31, called the Fayette County 911 Communications Center and told a dispatcher he would “go mental and make another Dr. Kendrick’s office incident,” referring to a Tyrone man who shot his estranged wife to death last week at a Fayetteville dentist’s office and then killed himself. Freeman later called back the 911 center and identified himself, the warrant stated. Freeman, who lives at 740 Laura Smith Road, Newnan, was charged with one felony count of making terroristic threats, according to court documents. Freeman made the phone calls from the couple’s marital residence on Sauterne Way in Peachtree City, police said. The couple has been separated for several weeks, according to court documents. Taco Bell flasher arrested in PTC A Peachtree City man was arrested last week by police who say he flashed a store employee in the parking lot of the Taco Bell on Crosstown Court. Eric Christopher Smith, 38, of 707 Bookman Point, was charged with public indecency, according to a warrant filed for his arrest. Smith reportedly “made contact” with a female employee of the store while he was in his car and he asked if she had a boyfriend, police said. He then exposed his privates to her while committing a sex act, police said. Smith was released on bond with orders to stay away from the victim and the restaurant. Second arrest made in theft ring at Tyrone home A second Tyrone resident has been arrested in a multi-county theft ring that may have operated out of a home there, police said. James Lawson Mobley IV, 35, of 135 Arrowhead Rd., was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with theft by receiving, said Tyrone Police Chief Johnny Hay. More charges may be forthcoming as the investigation into the activities at the Tyrone residence continue, Hay said. Monday morning, police found a stolen truck with a go-cart in its truck bed that may also have been stolen, Hay added. Those items may be tied to the ring, which involves DeKalb, Carroll and Douglas counties, Hay said. Last Wednesday, Tyrone officers executed a search warrant on the home and found found various items that were reported from Tyrone and several other jurisdictions including three Georgia license plates, a U-Haul trailer, a utility trailer, a Makita grinder and a tool box, police said. A woman who rented the home, Angela Brook Moore, 38, was arrested for one count of theft by receiving stolen property after the home was searched, police said.
