Cart parking solution can help MHS, Holy Trinity

I am currently serving with the U.S. Army in the Middle East. As a resident of Peachtree City and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, I have an idea that may be beneficial to both the church and McIntosh High School.

I have had this idea for quite some time but it was not until I read the article about Gov. Perdue signing the golf cart law that I figured I would try to get an answer.

Every Sunday, McIntosh High School’s parking lot is utilized by parishioners; however, during the week students are forbidden to utilize the church parking lot.

I understand that the church needs to maintain some spaces for daily mass, funerals, etc., but I have an idea that may be beneficial to all.

Holy Trinity has a Life Teen Group that at least in my opinion could always use more members. Why not allow students who are youth group members to park in the church lot?

This may increase the number of Life Teen members while at the same time decrease the congestion within the school parking lot.
