Wellspring Store seeking used furniture donationsThe Wellspring Store, a ministry of Wellspring for Living Water Ministries, is looking for new and very gently used furniture and home furnishings to sell in the Peachtree City store. The store also offers new and nearly-new ladies fashions and childrens clothing from newborn to size 6. The store is especially in need of donations of toddler boys clothing, in good condition. The store is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit operation and all donations are tax deductible. Proceeds benefit the Wellspring Home, a transition home for women who need a new start, and other Wellspring ministries. The store, which opened in mid-March, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Call the Wellspring Store, 770-632-1788, to arrange a time to drop off donations. Wellspring of Living Water Ministries is made up of multi-cultural, multi-denominational volunteers, representing more than 125 churches in the metro area. The Ministry is giving back to the community through good values in the store, through opportunities for people to serve community service hours for the county, and for women on food stamps who need to give volunteer hours. In addition to the transition home and retreats for pastors wives, the ministry does large arena events every other year, such as the Beth Moore event at Phillips Arena last year, and the Anne Graham Lotz Just Give Me Jesus conference three years ago. The store has a community room available for Bible studies and meetings, and will offer classes (such as parenting skills) in the near future. For more information on the store or the ministry, call Jamie Wyatt, 770-964-2836. Her cell phone number is 404-285-9467. The Wellspring Store is in the Peachtree East Publix Shopping Center on Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City. |
