PTC nanny was drunk when she wrecked with kids in car, police sayA Peachtree City nanny was illegally intoxicated when the car she was driving three children in ran off the road and struck a parked vehicle at McIntosh High School last week, police said. Izabella Nechay Bradley, 42, was driving along Walt Banks Road in front of the school April 12 around lunchtime when the wreck occurred, police said. One of the children, a 3-year-old boy who was not properly restrained in a child safety seat, was rushed to an area hospital by a medical helicopter while a 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl were also injured, police said. The injuries to all three children were determined to be non-life threatening, police said. The force of the collision caused a chain-reaction that damaged three vehicles, said Police Chief James Murray. Bradleys breathalyzer result was .159, almost twice the legal limit, according to the accident report. Bradley, of 4635 Joy Springs, Franklin, was charged with DUI, three counts of endangering a child while DUI, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and two counts of seat belt violations. Bradley originally told officers that another vehicle pulled in front of her 1995 Chevy Cavalier, causing her to leave the roadway, but the investigation revealed that no such vehicle existed, according to the report.
