4 PTC teens charged for home burglary

Four Peachtree City teens have been arrested for a recent burglary in the Planterra Ridge subdivision, police said.

The teens, ranging in age from 13 to 15, were charged with burglary for taking $300 in videos and DVDs from the home, police said. All four suspects were later turned over to their guardians, police said.

One of the suspects was identified after the victim talked to one of his neighbors who provided information, police said. A follow-up investigation by police officers led to the identity of the three other suspects, police said.

The home was broken into when the victim was out of town for five days, police said.

Approximately $150 of the stolen property has been recovered as part of the preliminary investigation.
