A deluxe thank you from Forrest Homes CEOTheres nothing like positive feedback for a job well done. But when it comes to saying thank you to employees, Michael Adamson goes well beyond the pat on the back and a grateful handshake. The founder and CEO of Forrest Homes, a homebuilding company in Alpharetta, recently showed his staff how much he appreciates their hard work and commitment by closing the office and taking 60 employees and their spouses on a five-day vacation to Mexico. During their stay at an all-inclusive resort, the 120 Forrest Homes folks focused their attention on relaxing. Guests were invited to indulge in food, beverages and entertainment that ran around the clock. Dancing, snorkeling, sailing, and tours of Mayan ruins were the chief attractions. Such a generous show of appreciation is not uncommon from Adamson, who last year treated his hard-working crew to a three-day cruise in the Bahamas. I believe in rewarding hard work, and no one has performed better than my team during this past year, said Adamson. Last year we set a record for sales/starts/closings and I felt it was important to reward them in an equally outstanding manner. Founded in 1998, Forrest Homes maintains its commitment to operating a financially sound building company that enhances lifestyles by providing quality, affordable home ownership. Forrest Homes has been recognized both locally and nationally as a leader in its field, receiving the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Associations Professionalism Awards from 1998 to 2003. The Atlanta Business Chronicle recently recognized the company as one of Atlantas Top 25 Builders. Since 2001, Forrest Homes has consistently ranked among the top national builders by Professional Builder magazine and Builder Magazine.
