Barton named to MSAR postDavid Barton of the Re/Max Advantage Stockbridge office has been named chairperson of governmental affairs and legislative Liaison for the Metro South Association of Realtors. His responsibilities will include being the eyes and ears for MSAR with regard to upcoming governmental and political affairs that may affect real estate and/or personal property rights in the counties in which MSAR serves. He will attend the State Governmental Affairs meetings at the Georgia Association of Realtors during the time that the House and Senate are in session, thus allowing him to filter down to MSAR any issues that may need attention or a Call to Action as indicated by GAR. He will stay abreast of all local candidates and leaders in the communities in which MSAR serves, and what position, if any that may arise in reference to real estate and/or personal property rights. David earned his real estate license in 1998 and joined RE/MAX Advantage. He is a U.S. Army veteran and a lifelong resident of Clayton County. He and his wife, Tammy, have a two-year old daughter, Leila, and three sons: Jordan 12, Justin 7, and Blake 4. They reside in Ellenwood. |
