Cedarcroft is latest Ravin success storyPeachtree City-based Ravin Homes is a company which prides itself in meeting the needs and desires of its homebuyers. That's why the company builds very few speculative homes, and in fact, probably 95 percent of the company's homes are sold prior to the start of construction. At the present time, Ravin Homes is accepting homesite reservations for Phase II of its Cedarcroft community in the western part of Peachtree City. Prices of the homes in the new phase, which has 82 homesites, will range from the $180,000s to the $250,000s. Michael Rossetti, president, said that Ravin Homes is offering numerous floor plans of custom built homes in Cedarcroft, which is located in the western part of Peachtree City. ÒWe are also able to sit down with our buyers and customize their homes to match their individual needs and wishes, and purchasers are also allowed to provide their own plans,Ó he said. The Cedarcroft homes may contain such features as a breakfast nook, a bonus room and a third bay which can be utilized for storing a golf cart. Those who have bought in Cedarcroft have also added such special features as screened porches, built-in sound systems, high-tech wiring for computer networking, and upgraded countertops. The 220-home Cedarcroft community is off MacDuff Parkway, which runs off Highway 54 west of Highway 74 North. St. Albans Way serves as the entrance road into the community. Vince Rossetti, who has been in home building for nearly 50 years, started constructing homes in Peachtree City in 1974 after working in other well known planned communities, including Columbia, Md., Reston, Va., and The Woodlands in Houston, Tex. The current management of the Ravin organization includes his children, Michael Rossetti and DeSales deGolian. |
