Wedding And Engagement Announcements Johnson-Williams Mr. and Mrs. Hector Colon of Fayetteville and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Johnson of Atlanta announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Johnson, to 1st. Lt. Brandon Gene Williams, United States Air Force, son of Gene and Hazel Williams, also of Fayetteville. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Marion Mays Slack of Woodstock and the late James Mays of Atlanta, and Vera Johnson of Morrow and the late F.A. Johnson. A 2000 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, she will received her bachelor of science degree in middle grades education from the University of Georgia in May, 2004. The groom-elect is the grandson of Dora Roper of Canton and the late Thomas Roper Sr., and the late Abby and Charlie Williams of Valdosta. He is a 1996 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone and a 2000 graduate of the Unites States Air Force Academy where he received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He currently is stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., where he serves as a pilot in the F-15E Strike Eagle. The wedding will be June 12, 2004, at North Fayette United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Goldsboro, N.C.
