| New school venue schedule announced Last week’s inaugural performances and Sunday art exhibit at the Coweta County School System Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts kicked off a number of performances and events at the center over the next two months. Among the scheduled events at the center are: • April 19 - kickoff of Newnan High School Honors Arts exhibit. • April 20, 7 p.m. - Masterworks Chorus concert. • April 22, 7 p.m. - East Coweta High School Band concert. • May 3 - kick-off of East Coweta High School photography exhibit. • May 6-8 - Northgate High School 's performance of “Annie.” • May 10, 7 p.m. - Teacher of the Year reception. • May 13-15 - East Coweta High School performance of “Peter Pan.” • May 17, 7 p.m. - Willis Road Elementary School musical. • May 18, 7 p.m. - New middle school strings student concert. • May 19, 7p.m. - Central Educational Center graduation ceremony. • May 20 - Maggie Brown pre-K graduation. Some event times are not yet available. Ticket information, when necessary, is available at schools.
