Keywood signs with UAHJoseph Keywood of Landmark has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Keywood, a Douglasville resident, has participated for 10 years in the Douglas County Soccer Association, Recreation and Select Programs. He credits these programs for his early training and feels they have played a large role in his soccer success. While at Landmark, Joseph has been co-captain of the Landmark soccer team and was instrumental in the development of the program. A Landmark football player as well, Keywood earned region and all-state honors and was awarded the National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Scholarship. The 6-foot-5 defensive player has been recognized in Whos Who Among American Students Sports Edition for the past two years. Joseph chose UAH over other colleges because of the size of the school, the prospect of action on the field as a freshman and the outstanding Computer Science Department. |
