Buehler to lead May 8 personality and prayer workshop at Nativity Episcopal

The Rev. Lynnsay Buehler, priest associate at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta, and director and resident spiritual director of the Julian of Norwich Center there, will offer a “Personality & Prayer Workshop” at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville on May 8, from 10 a.m.- 4:15 p.m.

The workshop will offer a review of the Myers-Briggs personality types and their relationship to prayer.

Time is also included for personal reflection and prayers. Each participant should take a Myers-Briggs-type test before coming to the session. (Variations of this test are available on the Internet at no charge.)

The cost of the session is $15 per person; the registration deadline is April 25. Those planning to attend may sign up for a provided lunch for $5 or bring their own. To register, contact the church, 770-460-6390 or info@fayettenativity.com.

Buehler received training in spiritual direction and various practices of prayer at the Jesus Center of Atlanta. She has studied Centering Prayer at Green Bough House of Prayer, where she is an associate.

Buehler was a founding member of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta’s Commission for Spiritual Formation. She is a contemplative retreat leader and is a member of Spiritual Directors International.
