CCSU celebrates top students at convocation Clayton College & State University will host its 29th Annual Academic Honors Convocation Thursday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Spivey Hall to celebrate outstanding student achievement. The Honors Convocation will be the occasion to announce special discipline awards, acknowledge contest winners, and present certificates to students with a GPA of 3.80 or higher. In addition, the Clayton College & State University Foundation will give cash awards to the students who have earned a 4.00 GPA. Finally, Clayton State’s winner of the Chancellor’s Academic Recognition Award will make a brief speech. To show their support of these top students, Clayton State faculty will participate in a formal academic procession including regalia.
