Paint by the pouch

Want to change your wall color, but don’t want to go through the expense and hassle of buying a quart just to discover it is not exactly the color you were hoping for?

There is a solution at hand, literally. Now you can buy paint samples in mini-pouches, allowing you to sample the color without the clutter of leftover paint cans.

The paint is called Devine Color, and a two-ounce packet costing around $3.75 will cover four square feet. There are 128 rich, dusky hues to choose from, and the paint is thicker than most other paints, almost like a face cream or yogurt consistency.

Locally, you can find the mini-pouches or gallons of Devine Color at Village Paint at 461-A North Glynn Street, Hudson Plaza, in Fayetteville.

“The pouches will save a lot of waste and money, and they will be fun to use,” said Troy Powell,co-owner of Village Paint.
