Highway 85 South. This week, the citys Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for a day care facility, a 50-home subdivision and a second Zaxbys restaurant at Summit Point. It will feature single family detached homes as the first residential part of the overall Southside Master Plan. The subdivision will be located on part of a 53-acre parcel set aside for residential uses. The proposed Zaxbys would also be on an outparcel, but off Ga. Highway 92. The restaurant has 90 seats and is over 3,500 sq. ft.
