PruGeorgia wins award

Prudential Georgia Realty was voted a “Best in Class” company in the Executive Home Sales category to win a 2004 Consumers’ Choice Award. Metro Atlanta consumers and business executives were asked to rate the best area businesses in 122 categories in the survey.

The survey, conducted by the New York-based Harris Interactive Inc. market research firm, was conducted in December and the results were published in the Jan. 16 issue of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The Consumers’ Choice Award was first established in Canada in 1986 and expanded into the U.S. 12 years later. This year marks the fifth year the awards have been given in Atlanta.

“It was extremely high praise for the general public to consider us a ‘Best in Class’ company,” stated Prudential Georgia Realty president and CEO Dan Forsman. “I have always thought this company has the best Realtors in metro Atlanta and this provides outside validation by area consumers and business professionals.”

Prudential Georgia Realty has been serving the real estate needs of metro Atlantans since 1963. In 2003, the firm posted another record year with more than $1.8 billion in sales and 8,000 closed transactions. Ranked by Realtor Magazine as one of the top 100 real estate companies in the United States, Prudential Georgia Realty placed 53rd for 2002 sales volume.

Kathy Connelly, vice president of Prudential Georgia Realty's award-winning Relocation Division, said, “We have one of the largest relocation divisions in the Southeast and serve numerous Fortune 500 companies with their corporate relocation.”

Prudential Georgia Realty has 19 offices and more than 1,000 real estate professionals serving the metro Atlanta and North Georgia regions. The firm is an independently owned and operated member of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.
