| Wednesday, March 10, 2004 Builders to meet March 18 The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia will have its annual Table Top Night Thursday, March 18, from 4:30-9 p.m. at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City. The meeting will open with registration, plus periodic bidding in a Silent Builder Auction starting at 5 p.m., where bidders, including associate members who do business with the local building community, will be able to compete for the opportunity to take a participating builder to lunch. Food for this gathering will consist of light hors d’ oeuvres. At the Table Top Night displays, the association’s builder members will be able to obtain information on the latest in building products, discover how to save money on future projects, and network with others in their industry. Associate members will have the opportunity to promote their products and services. At 7 p.m., Crab Races will get underway, as painted and numbered hermit crabs purchased by attendees will compete in a series of races to determine first, second and third place. There will be approximately 16 crabs in each race, and only 100 crabs will be sold. Reservations for this meeting should be made by Monday, March 15. The Home Builders Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, Meriwether, Heard, Pike, Upson, Lamar, Butts and Jasper counties.
