Tax website available

Anyone with access to the World Wide Web can now view a much-improved Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s website at www.fultoncountytaxes.org

“We are pleased to announce our expanded website, which now includes current and delinquent property tax bills, information on motor vehicles, business taxes, alcoholic beverage licenses, and our office locations and hours of operations,” said Fulton County Tax Commissioner Arthur Ferdinand.

The Fulton County Tax Commissioner’s Office collects and distributes more than $1 billion in tax revenues annually, including real and personal property, motor vehicle, mobile home, and business taxes.

These taxes help fund Fulton County Government, the Atlanta and Fulton County Boards of Education, the cities of Atlanta, East Point, Mountain Park, and the state of Georgia. The Tax Commissioner also collects countywide motor vehicle ad valorem taxes, tag, title, and transfer fees. In the unincorporated portions of Fulton, the Tax Commissioner collects business taxes, and issues business occupation tax certificates and alcoholic beverage licenses.

Fulton County’s property taxes make up 27 percent of all property taxes collected in Georgia.
