All courses are part of the core curriculum needed by all Clayton State baccalaureate students, with the exception of the learning support courses that prepare students to take MATH 1101. Clayton State began offering classes in Fayette County in the 2003 fall semester with a small cohort of non-traditional students. As the program grows, it may expand to day classes in addition to the evening courses offered at present. A committee has been created to find a suitable location somewhere in the county to establish a permanent satellite campus for the university. Clayton State, through the Fayette County Center, has also been offering non-credit, Continuing Education and small business development classes since the Center opened on Oct. 1, 2002.
