County GOP convention this Saturday

The Fayette County Republican Party will conduct its convention Saturday at Starr’s Mill High School. The doors will open at 9 a.m. for registration and the convention will begin at 10 a.m. The purpose of the County Convention is to elect delegates and alternates to represent Fayette County at the congressional district convention to be held in April.

The party will have its monthly meeting March 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the IHOP in Fayetteville. U.S. Rep. Johnny Isakson, candidate for the U.S. Senate, will be the guest speaker.
