Villages Amphitheater single tickets on sale Monday

Tickets for individual concerts at the Villages Amphitheater this summer go on sale Monday.

The individual tickets range in price from $15 to $35 for advance purchases, depending on the concert. Those waiting to buy tickets at the door the day of the concert will pay $5 extra per ticket, organizers said.

Tickets for the entire series will remain on sale, and season ticket holders have doubled since last year, officials said.

Despite the growing popularity of the season tickets, there are still good seats available, organizers said.

Tickets can be purchased at the amphitheater’s web site at villagesamphitheater.com or by calling the city’s Main Street office at 770-460-4238.

Advance single tickets for the following concerts is priced at $30: Three Dog Night (May 22), The Oak Ridge Boys (June 19) and Ronnie Milsap (Aug. 7).

The July 24 show with Neil Sedaka and the Sept. 11 concert with Sara Evans will be $35 in advance.

Tickets for the Aug. 21 Swinging Medallions concert are $15.

The amphitheater’s new Web site provides a seating chart and also has audio clips of songs provided by the artists in this year’s concert series.

The amphitheater, which can hold roughly 2,000 patrons, is owned by the city’s Downtown Development Authority and operated by the city’s Main Street program. The venue is also used by Fayette County High School, which is adjacent to the amphitheater.
