ObituariesCharlotte L. Miller Charlotte L. Miller, 76, Fayetteville, died Feb. 3, 2004 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. She was born May 26, 1927 in Laverne, Minn., the daughter of Sam and Lavern Langhout. She and her husband first lived in Richmond, Va., and in 1973 moved to Peachtree City, where they founded Bulldog Supply. A memorial service will be held in Georgia in April. Survivors include her husband, Edward John Miller, whom she married in 1945; a son, Michael S. Miller, Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Holly M. Hooper, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; a son-in-law, Herb Hooper; a brother, Clarence Langhout; a sister, Erma Smith; grandchildren, J. H. and Mindy Hooper, Jonathan and Marybeth Hooper, Shelley and Chris Loker, Dr. Kristen Miller, Michael Miller Jr., Matthew Miller; and seven great-grandchildren. Leo Earl Kelly Leo Earl Kelly, 75, Fayetteville, died Feb. 6, 2004. He was born June 15, 1929 in Knoxville, Tenn. Memorial services were at Carl J. Mowell chapel with Chaplain Roan officiating. Survivors include his wife, Elisabeth Knoll Kelly, Fayetteville; a son, Robert and Dena Kelly; a daughter, Susan Fagan-Hardy and husband, Mike Hardy; grandchildren, Colleen Kelly-Fagan, and Evan Michael Hardy; a cousin, Roy and Annette Ellis; and an aunt, Louise Kennedy. He was born Oct. 25, 1915 in Fayette County, the son of Almon and Mattie Edna Cooper Nelms. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Nelms. He farmed most of his life and was the proud owner of a 1954 John Deere tractor, which he purchased new at that time, and was still in good running order. He was active in the annual Inman Tractor Days, and he and his tractor were featured on its 2003 program cover. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ed Lynch officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Services were at Line Creek Baptist Church, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Chip Kirk officiating. She was buried with her husband, John R. Long, in the church cemetery. Epsy Louise Andrews Epsy "Louise" Andrews, 89, Fayetteville, died Feb. 18, 2004. She was born Oct. 29, 1914 in Fayette County, the daughter of Henry Warren and Emily Inez Coleman Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wilkie Andrews. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Tom Pilgrim and the Rev. Maria Wells officiating. Interment was at the College Park Cemetery. He was born Feb. 17, 1935 in Fulton County. He was a native of Red Oak and moved to Peachtree City in 1991. He was a graduate of Georgia State University and owner and operator of Neighborhood Market/Florist. He was a member of Peachtree City Christian Church. Memorial services were at the Peachtree City Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. George S. Dillard III officiating. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Doris B. Eidson, Peachtree City; sons, William H. Eidson III and David Ivey Eidson, both of Sharpsburg, and Charles Robert Eidson, Gainesville; one brother; and six grandchildren. Dawn LaJuan Jackson Dawn LaJuan Jackson, 52, Fayetteville, died Feb. 19, 2004. She was born March 17, 1951 in Atlanta, the daughter of Clifford Kirby of Palestine, Texas, and Helen Cox of Cotton Valley, La. She was a graduate of Therrell High School and Georgia state University. She worked for many years with the F.A.A. and Rich's Department Store. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Terry Thompkins officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Robert Maxwell Jackson III, whom she married at her parent's home in Riverdale on Feb. 14, 1975; children, Matt, Missy, and Robby; a brother, David Kirby, Riverdale; a sister, Debbie and Alvin Allison, Sharpsburg; and nephews, Thomas Allison and Andrew Allison.
