FCH announces new board appointments The Fayette Community Hospital Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Frank N. Cole, M.D., and Cindy D. Lester as members. Cole, an internist, has been on staff at Fayette Community Hospital since 1997 and served as president of the Medical Staff from 2000-02. He is director of Medical Research and chairman of the Department of Medicine at Fayette Medical Clinic, where he is also a Board member. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cole has been active in clinical research the past 12 years. He graduated from the Emory University School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colo., and earned his undergraduate degree at Southwestern University at Memphis. The Fayette County native is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville and its adult choir. He is also a physician advisor to the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 72. Lester is president of Tri-City Realty Services Inc., a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the National Association of Realtors, and a graduate of the Realtors Institute. A licensed real estate broker, Lester has served in numerous leadership positions with the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Fayette County Board of Realtors and several other real estate organizations. She has also served in leadership capacities for many civic groups, including the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, Fayetteville Economic Development Authority and the Fayetteville Rotary Club. Voted Fayette Countys Business Person of the Year in 1995, Lester has been a trustee with the Christian City Childrens Home and Clayton College & State University.
