Chamber looking for new president By JOHN THOMPSON The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is expected to name an interim president soon, as former president Elissa Hall was recently relieved of her duties. Chairman Vicki Turner confirmed Thursday that Hall was no longer at the Chamber, but could not say much more on the subject. Because of the terms of her severance, we really cant say anything, she said. Calls to the Chamber also revealed that Hall was no longer employed there, but no one would comment on the issue. Turner did say the Chamber would have information soon on the groups interim president. Halls dismissal comes less than a month after the Chambers annual banquet and installation of new officers.
