Wednesday, February 11, 2004 Irish Hill comes to Pike Irish Hill Estates in Pike County is the newest venture for Woodland Homes, Inc. The community, which will have homes priced from the $140,000s, is on Hwy. 362 in Hollonville and is five minutes west of Williamson and 20 minutes west of Griffin. Bill Spelce, president and owner of Woodland Homes, is a resident of Pike County, and he is anxious to start the new homes. Plans offered in Irish Hill Estates include split foyer designs, ranch homes with finished bonus rooms, and a two-story design with a drive-under garage and a basement. All homes will be situated on two- to five-acre homesites. The community already has its first homeowner, and the furnished model home is expected to open in early February. The model home will be open Saturday through Thursday from 1-6 p.m. and on Friday by appointment.
