SummerGrove advertising named nation’s best

While SummerGrove is best known for its great amenities, wide range of home styles and historic Newnan location, the community was recently honored on the national level for its advertising initiatives.

At the recent National Association of Home Builders Awards in Las Vegas, SummerGrove won the Gold Award for best black and white ad in the nation by a master-planned community for its “All that’s missing is you” ad.

The ad cleverly explains the community’s missing component, the homebuyer, and creates intrigue with the use of unique, original photography depicting invisible people canoeing on Lake SummerGrove.

While SummerGrove has been honored with Silver Awards in past years, this marks the first Gold Award for Pathway Communities, the developer of SummerGrove.

This is the highest advertising-related award given in the home building and development industry. Other communities competing for the Gold Award included Lake Astoria, another Pathway-developed community in Forsyth County, The Ranch on Silver Queen in San Jose, Calif., and The Pinehills in Plymouth, Mass.

McRae Communications, Pathway’s advertising and public relations agency, was responsible for the development of the ad.

SummerGrove is located at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan. The Information Center is open daily 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. For more information, call 770-252-9000, or visit www.summergrove.com.
