Wedding AnnouncementsMoore-Jackson Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Moore of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Tracie Leigh Moore, to Horace Scott Jackson, son of Raye Dean Jackson of Jefferson, and the late Horace Jackson. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Hewlette and Harriette Morgan Harrell of Fayetteville and the late Harvey and Eva Moore of Starrs Mill. A graduate of Fayette County High School, she obtained her bachelors degree from the University of Georgia and her masters degree in speech language pathology from Valdosta State University. She is employed as a speech language pathologist for Cartersville City Schools in Cartersville. She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority while at the University of Georgia. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Ada and Hubert M. Farmer of Cleveland and the late Allene and Claude Jackson of Gainesville. He was graduated from Jefferson High School and the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelors degree in science and was a member of the University of Georgia football team. He currently is employed at East Paulding County High School as a defensive coordinator for the football team. The wedding will be April 3, 2004, at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church, with a reception following at Eagless Landing Country Club.
