Four arrested for home invasion in north Fayette By JOHN MUNFORD A north Fayette couple was antagonized by at least four intruders who broke into their home around midnight Monday, police said. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident by the Fayette County Sheriffs Department. The couple, who live on South Kite Lake Road near Ga. Highway 92, was accosted by the armed suspects, who pointed their guns and forced the woman to deactivate the homes alarm system, according to warrants filed by sheriffs detectives. The woman was also dragged along by her hair from the bedroom to different parts of the home, warrants indicated. Deputies have arrested Rasual Rayshad, of Rex, for aggravated assault, kidnapping and armed robbery, all felony counts. Also arrested and charged with armed robbery were Maurice Blanchard of Decatur, George Roberts Jr., 30, of Decatur and Jesse James Mercer Jr., 29, of Stone Mountain. The suspects originally got away with some cash and a firearm, reports indicated.
