Republican meeting

On February 7, at 10 a.m., the Fayette County Republican Party will convene precinct mass meetings to elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Fayette County Republican Party Convention. This is the beginning of the grassroots process of electing delegates to represent Georgia at the Republican National Convention in New York City. The Republican National Convention will nominate the Republican candidates for President and Vice President of the United States.

All Fayette County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in this process.

The precinct mass meetings convene at 10 a.m. at the Fayette County Justice Center. Registration is without charge and open at 9 a.m..

The Fayette County Republican Party Convention convenes at 10 a.m. on March 6, at Starr's Mill High School.

The Eighth Congressional District convention convenes at 10 a.m., April 3, at Sara Harp Minter Elementary School. The 13th Congressional District Convention will convene at 10 a.m. in Gwinnett County, Georgia, at a location to be announced.

The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2 p.m., May 14, in Columbus.
