Kristen Rae Bunch

Kristen Rae Bunch, 32, Peachtree City, died Jan. 9, 2004. She was born March 14, 1971 in Fulton County. She was a member of the Mount Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Haralson. She was a licensed beautician, and a licensed real estate appraiser. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor R. W. McLeroy officiating. Survivors include a son, James Dean Parrott, Peachtree City; mother, Saundra and Kyle Frank, Senoia; father, James S. Bunch, Atlanta; brother, Kevin and Stephanie Bunch, Peachtree City; stepbrothers, Sgt. Philip Frank, United States Army, Germany, Matthew Frank, and Mark Frank, both of Senoia; stepsister, Amy Frank, Senoia; grandmother, Mrs. Charlie Frank, Senoia; a nephew, Lance Frank, Germany; a niece, Madison Bunch, Peachtree City; and an aunt, Becky Carty, Dawsonville. Fred Henry Jenkins

Fred Henry Jenkins Jr., 75, Fayetteville, died Jan. 9, 2004. He was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Griggs Jenkins. He had served in the United States Navy. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Darrell Hayes officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Cemetery, Brooks, Ga. Survivors include children, Mike and Pat Jenkins Sr., and Freddy and Suzanne Jenkins III, all of Brooks, and Sharan and Danny Blankenship, Hampton; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lavonia "Teeny" Robinson, Cartersville, Evelyn Herndon, Marietta, and Yvonne Mullins, Dunwoody. Patricia Jean Reduto

Patricia Jean Reduto, 42, Peachtree City, died Jan. 10, 2004. She was born March 29, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. Memorial services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Dr. David Scott Thompson officiating. Survivors include a son, Robert Morron III, Temple, Texas; a daughter, Regina Morron, Denton, Texas; father, John "Jack" Thompson, Senoia; brothers, Dr. David Scott Thompson, and John Douglas Thompson, both of Stuart, Fla., and Brian Keith Thompson, Grantville, and Christopher Joseph Thompson, San Diego, Calif.; and sisters Mary Catherine Kinnard, Portland, Ore., Kelli Ann Miller, Senoia, Susan Marie Havener, Stuart, Fla., and Regina Clare Mease, Grantville. Samuel Harvey Rakestraw, M.D.

Samuel Harvey Rakestraw, M. D., 53, Tyrone, died Jan. 10, 2004. He was born Aug. 30, 1950 in Reidsville, N. C. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rivers Rakestraw, Tyrone; sons, Brett Rakestraw, McDonough, and Nick Rakestraw, Orlando, Fla.; a stepson, Donnie and Brenda Bissell, Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Laura Bissell, Vero Beach, Fla.; a step-grandchild, Josh Bissell, Fayetteville; mother, Helen Rakestraw, Reidsville, N. Dorothy Matilda Nunn

Dorothy Matilda Nunn, 86, Fayetteville, formerly of Hapeville, died Jan. 13, 2004. She was born May 29, 1917 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Nunn. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Herman Mason officiating. Interment was at the College Park Cemetery. Survivors include a son, J. D. Donald and Barbara Ferrell, Fayetteville; grandsons, Dale H. Ferrell, Fayetteville, and Paul Ferrell and wife, Dominque Jessen, Eagan, Minn.; granddaughters, Tracey L. Ferrell, Nashville, Tenn., and Kellie and Leroy Stapleton, Rex, Ga.; and sisters, Virginia Kirkland, and Sara Peevy, both of Fayetteville. Carl J. James A, Miller

James A. "Jim" Miller, 79, Peachtree City, died Jan. 14, 2004. He was born April 27, 1924 in Witchita Falls, Texas. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus #8081. He was retired with 33 years of service at Torrington Bearings/Ingersol Rand.

A memorial mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father John Walsh officiating. Survivors include his wife, Jo Miller, Peachtree City; children, Annette M. Dwyer, Dunwoody, Ga., Michael A. Miller, New Albany, Ind., David J. Miller, Sante Fe, N. M., and Barbara R. Miller, Tucker, Ga.; a brother, Earl D. Miller, Broken Bow, Okla.; a sister, Fay M. Smith, Lockhart, Texas; three grandchildren; and six nephews and nieces. James Earnest Goodman

James Earnest Goodman, 60, Brooks, died Jan. 14, 2004. He was born Aug. 29, 1943 in Fayette County, the son of Nonie Theo and Glennis Arlene Reece Goodman. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Chaplain Dennis Hitchman officiating. Interment was at the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include sons, Ricky Johnson, and Vern; daughters, Arlene and Eddie Reece, Jenan and Mark Tuggle, and Gina and Ray Collins; girlfriend, Angle Vessell, former wife, Katie Goodman, stepbrother, Floyd Jones. Rosalee Swim

Rosalee Swim, 78, Fayetteville, died Jan. 15, 2004. She was born Aug. 1, 1925 in Raleigh, W. Va. Services were at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Stringham and the Rev. Frank Ellis officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, William E. 'Bill" Swim, Fayetteville; a daughter, Sharon Sue and Steve Stanley, Fayetteville; a grandson, Steven Curtis and Cherice Daniels, W. Va.; a great-grandson, Steven Tyler Stanley; and a sister, Edith Inez Mathis, Daniels, W. Va. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Venson James Parrott

Venson James Parrott, 81, Fayetteville, died Jan. 18, 2004. He was born July 4, 1922 in Fayette County, the son of Lum and Etta McElwaney Parrott. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Priester officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Claudine Thomas Parrott, Fayetteville; sons, Tony Parrott, Fayetteville, and Eddie Parrott, Newnan; a daughter, Alice and Bob Reeves, Fayetteville; and a granddaughter, Rachel Parrott, Fayetteville.
