Wednesday, January 14, 2004 Open house today at Harpers Farm Members of the local real estate community are invited to attend a Realtors Open House at Harpers Farm, the 63-home community underway on Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard in Newnan. Harpers Farm, which is being developed by Mac McKinney and Mike White, is situated on Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard near its intersection with U.S. Highway 29. A second entrance off Sprayberry Road is planned for later this year. The location is convenient to Interstate 85, and it is a short commute to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. At present, 17 homes are nearing completion. Builders in the community are McKinney Builders Inc. and Alton Ray Builder Inc. The homes in Harpers Farm are traditional ranch and two story designs with low maintenance brick and vinyl exteriors, and the yards are sodded and landscaped in front and back. Prices range from a three-bedroom, two-bath ranch plan at $144,900 to a five-bedroom, two and one-half-bath two story at $164,900. The homes contain from 1,200 to 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. Other special features include a spacious great room with a fireplace and gas logs, oak cabinets in the kitchen and baths, and covered porches (per plan).
