Wednesday, January 14, 2004 Gramm adopts family for holidays Gramm & Associates, a full-service real estate development and marketing company specializing in new home communities, held a fundraiser during the Christmas season to raise money and gifts for two low-income families in Henry County. Christmas wish lists from two needy families were made available through the Connecting Henry organization, which founded the county-wide Christmas Sponsorship Program. Gramm & Associates adopted two families with a total of eight family members. Real estate agents and staff members were given a copy of the wish lists and asked to donate a gift toward the families as entrance to a grand holiday party held at the exclusive One Ninety One Club in Downtown Atlanta. There are a lot of needy families inHenry County and we wanted to do our part in the community to help fill that need, said Martha Adams, Corporate Accounting Executive and Fundraiser Coordinator for Gramm & Associates. It was such a great experience to be able to see the joy we were able to bring to the families. The event raised over 130 gifts and $1,415 in monetary donations and 100 percent of the proceeds went directly to the needy families. The gifts and monetary donations were hand-delivered to the families a week before Christmas. All these gifts are so generous, said one anonymous family recipient. Its inspiring at Christmastime that so many strangers were able to help to give my children a brighter holiday.
