Brooks to swear in councilmen By CAROLYN CARY ccary@TheCitizenNews.com Brooks Mayor Bobby Butler has announced the swearing in of three councilmen at the town’s Jan. 19 meeting. Post 3 has been filled by Dan Langford, who will begin his second term; the Post 4 representative is Fran Bauer, who will also begin her second term; and Post 5 is filled by Tom Windom, who was elected to take the place of Mike Hanson. Hanson served a total of 12 years as a councilman. Mayor Butler said that the remodeling of Hardy Hall, the town’s offices and meeting center, is right on schedule.
