The Palmer Course at Starr’s Mill Golf Club owner John W. Boykin and members of his senior staff brought a number of Christmas gifts to the Fayette Youth Protection Homes.

Formerly known as the WhiteWater Country Club, the Palmer Course held a “Santa Open” to benefit the Friday-Johnson Homes. The 54 players were required to bring an unwrapped gift as a part of the entry fee. Also, a portion of the fee was given to the Homes.

“We were very pleased,” said Boykin, “to be able to do this for an organization as worthy as the Youth Protection Homes. We look forward to working with them in the coming year.”
