South Fulton parkway work to be completed soon The Georgia DOT will begin a project in the next two weeks that will complete the final 2.4-mile section of the South Fulton Parkway, the portion between Cochran Mill Road and Rivertown Road. "There will be no impact to traffic during the holidays since this is a new section of roadway," said GDOT District Construction Engineer Mickey McGee. "This final link of the South Fulton Parkway will give areas of South Fulton County more direct access to the interstate system." The contract price for the project is almost $4.9 million and the winning bid was placed by Sunbelt Structures, Inc.
