Scrapbook store announces winners Late in November, Anna Griffin, a well-known invitation, stationary, and scrapbook paper supplier headquartered here in Georgia, partnered with Matte Magic Scrapbooks, a local scrapbook retailer, to sponsor a scrapbook page contest. This was the first time the store had asked one of its vendors to participate in their quarterly page contest and it was a resounding success. Jenna Beegle, a designer for Anna Griffin, came to Matte Magic Scrapboooks in Newnan to judge the twelve entries that were submitted by patrons. With her, she brought a Grand Prize that consisted of a 12" x 12" Anna Griffin scrapbook album with coordinating papers and an autographed idea book, generously donated by Anna Griffin for the event. It was interesting for the entrants to receive a professional opinion about their beautiful layouts. All the entries were outstanding, but in a contest someone has to win. Jenni Horne won the Grand Prize which also included a $25 gift certificate from Matte Magic Scrapbooks. Margert Kruljac won second prize, which was a $15 gift certificate from Matte Magic. There was a third-place tie between Freyer Cafferel and Darlene Melvin. They each received a $5 gift certificate. The vendor-sponsored scrapbook page contest idea went over so well that Matte Magic will be offering another contest opportunity at the end of January supported by a popular, new vendor from Utah, Rusty Pickle.
