Wednesday, December 10, 2003 Bullard hosts Toys for Tots dropoff Monday, Dec. 22, is the deadline to drop off toys at Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty offices for the annual U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Jerry Nesbitt, managing broker of the companys Peachtree City/Fayette County office, is again serving as the Toys for Tots coordinator for the firm. He said this is the 56th annual Toys for Tots drive, and this is the 22nd year that Coldwell Banker Bullard has participated in the effort as collection points. Area residents wanting to participate in the campaign can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at a Coldwell Banker Bullard office or one of the other collection points, and the Marines will take it from there, distributing the toys to needy children through local charitable organizations. For those preferring to contribute money to the campaign, a check made out to Toys for Tots will be accepted. Coldwell Banker Bullard offices are located at 238 Stockbridge Rd., Jonesboro; 4295 Jodeco Rd., McDonough; 658 West Third Street, Jackson; 1968-A Hwy. 54 West, Fayetteville (just outside the eastern city limits of Peachtree City); on Hwy. 34 East, Newnan (just west of the Thomas Crossroads intersection); and 122-A South 13th St. in Griffin. The Toys for Tots campaign has grown from a small project in the Los Angeles area to nationwide effort. The campaign has the support of a wide array of other organizations, groups, committees, locals businesses, and national corporations.
