Purchases with stolen credit card net 13 felony charges on local man

A shopping spree with a stolen credit card has landed a local man in jail charged with 13 felony counts of financial identity fraud.

Peter Richard Hesse, 20, of Fayetteville used a credit card that had been stolen from a residence on Delbank Point in Peachtree City to rack up over $3,500 in charges, according to warrants issued by the Peachtree City Police Department.

Hesse used the card to make several small purchases at the Texaco convenience store on Ga. Highway 74 north and two purchases totaling over $2,600 at Jazzy Window Tint in Riverdale, police said. Two other purchases were made at a location in Coon Rapids, Minn., police said.
