Two after-school workers arrested for marijuana

Two employees of the after-school program at Oak Grove Elementary were arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession by Peachtree City police Friday night.

Barry James Albers, 25, and Caitreona Deeyah Combs, 23, were arrested after police found them in a parked vehicle at the Planterra Ridge Golf Course parking lot, according to a police report. They were charged with possession of marijuana (less than one ounce).

School spokeswoman Melinda Berry-Dreisbach said Tuesday that no determination has been made on any potential action by school officials, who want to speak with all parties involved first.

“No action has been taken yet until we can hear all sides of the story,” Berry-Dreisbach said.
