Cedarcroft offers custom building

Ravin Homes believes in meeting the needs and desires of its homebuyers, and that’s why the Peachtree City-based company builds very few speculative homes. In fact, probably 95 percent of the company’s homes are sold prior to the start of construction.

“We are offering numerous different floor plans of custom-built homes in our Cedarcroft community in the western part of Peachtree City, and we are also able to sit down with our buyers and customize their homes to match their individual needs and wishes,” said Michael Rossetti, president of the company. “Purchasers are also allowed to provide their own plans.”

The homes in the community may contain such features as a breakfast nook, a bonus room and a third bay which can be utilized for storing a golf cart. Families who have bought in Cedarcroft have also added such special features as screened porches, built-in sound systems, high-tech wiring for computer networking, and upgraded countertops.

Homes in Cedarcroft range in price from the high $170,000s to the $260,000s. Phase II is scheduled to open around the first of the year.

The 220-home Cedarcroft community is off MacDuff Parkway, which runs off Ga. Highway 54 west of Highway 74 North. St. Albans Way is the entrance road into the community.

Elaine White is the on-site sales agent in the community, and she can be contacted by calling 770-616-4483.

Ravin Homes was founded by Vincent F. Rossetti and has produced over 1,000 homes in Peachtree City, Eagle’s Landing, StoneBriar, The Villages of Lafayette Park and other prestigious communities in the Metro South area for more than a quarter century.

Vince Rossetti, who has been in home building for nearly 50 years, started constructing homes in Peachtree City in 1974 after working in other well-known planned communities, including Columbia, Md., Reston, Va., and The Woodlands in Houston, Tex.

The current management of the Ravin organization includes his children, Michael Rossetti and DeSales deGolian.
