PruGeorgia introduces two new incentives programs for sales associates

Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty, one of the oldest and largest residential real estate firms in metro Atlanta, has created two new programs to directly benefit its team of 900+ real estate professionals.

Known as DreamBuilder and TeamBuilder, the programs were conceived to assist the firm's sales associates with planning for retirement and to provide incentives for bringing additional agents to Prudential. DreamBuilder is a 401K program for Realtors with a complete menu of investment choices. While most 401K programs are very limiting in terms of contributions allowed, DreamBuilder has been set up with Realtors, who are independent contractors, in mind, allowing a greater percentage contribution by law of their net annual profits.

"This 401K program for Realtors is the only one of its kind that we know of in Georgia," explained company president and CEO Dan Forsman. "We are in partnership with our agents and this is one more way we try to be a good partner."

Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty covers all administrative costs for the DreamBuilder program. The 401K accounts have been set up through Prudential Securities, a division of Wachovia. Each agent can set up the account to match his or her individual needs and make changes, as needed, in the contribution amount. It allows the company's agents to defer taxes on commissions earned and provides a nest egg for retirement.

The TeamBuilder program gives existing Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty agents the chance to help grow the company's real estate team. As an agent incentive program, it gives a Realtor currently with Prudential a percentage of commissions earned by all agents he/she helps bring to the team. These funds, distributed quarterly, can go directly to the agent or be sent to his/her tax-deferred DreamBuilder account.

"It gives our agents an additional income source while they help build a great company," said Prudential Atlanta/Georgia Realty recruiting director Sharon Cunningham. "Agents will not find many real estate companies willing to do this kind of revenue-sharing. We want to help insure the future of our associates."

Forsman believes the TeamBuilder program will be a helpful way to grow his company with profitable and productive people. He also sees the two programs as an excellent way to assist his Realtor team and their families far into the future, when it's time for retirement. His motto for the programs is: "Climb the ladder of success and take your family with you."

"DreamBuilder and TeamBuilder are additional ways our company strives to be agent-centric," he said. "The programs are two more components of a positive and professional environment we offer our Realtors."

The company continues to create, implement and improve existing benefits for its sales associates. This exemplifies the firm's "We Care" motto by partnering with its sales associates.
