Wednesday, November 12, 2003 Graeagle sites now available The first section of homesites are now on the market in Graeagle Estates, an exclusive gated community off Georgia Hwy. 27/41 in Meriwether County. "This first group of homesites are being offered at discounted prices, with some of them starting as low as $25,000," said Carol Giles of Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, who is marketing the homesites for the developer, Labrah Associates. Located halfway between Greenville and Warm Springs, Graeagle Estates is only one mile from the airport in Warm Springs. Home prices in the community are expected to start at $300,000 and go as high as $1 million, and Giles said that purchasers of homesites "will be able to provide their own builder or we can assist you in selecting one." In all, the community has 35 one and one-half to three acre wooded and lakefront homesites. The sites with lake frontage will come on the market during a later stage of development. The community will contain a number of amenities for residents, including walking paths and a scenic area featuring a fountain. The 33-acre Graeagle Lake has a gazebo plus a boat dock and launch area in Turtle Cove. The property's country setting, which is abundant with mature hardwoods, is an ideal setting for wildlife. Graeagle Estates, which has covenants and restrictions in place, has lighted streets and is served by underground utilities and a private water system. Yard maintenance and domestic services will be available for residents.
