Wieland raises contributions for Habitat for Humanity

And the results are in! John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods recently presented the Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity chapter nearly $1,800 for its fundraising campaign to house those less fortunate.

For every customer satisfaction survey returned to JWH&N, JWH&N is contributing $5 to local Habitat for Humanity chapters around Atlanta. The funds have been accumulating for more than six months to reach the $1,775 contribution which was donated Southern Crescent Habitat. The Southern Crescent Habitat donation was the first check presented in 2003 as a result of the returned surveys.

John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods has always been committed to the communities where it builds and sells homes. This particular donation was raised from surveys returned from the company's South Atlanta neighborhoods including Lakeside on Redwine, Centennial, Governor's Row, Southampton and River Oaks in Fayette County; Meadowbrook Glen in South Dekalb County; and Regency Pointe, Regency Oaks, Guilford Forest and Regency Hills in South Fulton.

Founded in 1970, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods is currently building in 25 neighborhoods across Atlanta. Named National Builder of the Year and National Housing Quality Award Winner, the company is the Southeast's leading builder of move-up homes.

While having a long-standing commitment to community development and involvement in the Atlanta Metro area, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods company members donate not only money and gifts, but also their personal time and energy by building homes for Habitat for Humanity, participating in fund-raising events, tutoring children and much much more through the company's Second Mile program.
