Parker named River Oaks sales manager

John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods has named Elizabeth Parker as the neighborhood sales manager for River Oaks, Wieland's new custom home neighborhood in Tyrone. Priced from the $500s, River Oaks will showcase custom homes from Wieland's custom home division, Colonnade Custom Homes.

Parker joins John Wieland with extensive history in new home custom sales. Previously with Harry Norman Realtors in Peachtree City, she sold more than $4 million in real estate in the past year. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Real Estate, a Certified Relocation Specialist, a Certified Residential Specialist and has achieved GRI certification both Nationally and at the State level. She is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and the Fayette/Coweta Board of Realtors.

In addition, Parker is involved in a number of extra curricular activities including being a charter member of the American Business Women's Association of Coweta, a certified Master Gardner and a volunteer with both Habitat for Humanity and Click, an organization helping adults learn to read. Elizabeth is looking forward to returning to her true passion of new home sales and is already enjoying tremendous success at River Oaks. She has sold nearly a dozen home sites in the past six weeks.

Developed by John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, River Oaks features large estate lots averaging 2-3 acres (up to 8 acres) in a beautiful natural setting of woods, meadows and creeks. River Oaks is conveniently located off Ga. Highway 74 in Fayette County two miles from I-85. In addition to offering heavily wooded home sites, River Oaks offers custom estate homes and a personalized homebuilding experience anchored by first class amenities and a magnificent clubhouse, still to be constructed. Custom estate homes will range from 3,500 square feet.

In addition, River Oaks will be the site of the 2004 Street of Dreams. This will be the 13th Street of Dreams show held in the Atlanta area. Since its first Atlanta show in 1987, Street of Dreams has attracted an average of 43,000 visitors to its trademarked shows and contributed tens of thousands of dollars to local charities.
