Local chiropractor helping feed the hungry

Dr. Elliott Segal, in collaboration with area ministries, has initiated a Feed the Homeless Outreach in Fayetteville. Evangelist Ray Jenkins, who leads Action Growth Ministries, and Tim Brand, manager

of Kroger at Fayetteville Towne Center, are co-sponsors.

“Our first outreach was more successful than I expected,” said Dr. Segal. “We collected several hundred dollars worth of food, generously donated by the shoppers at Kroger, this past Saturday.”

Dr. Segal and his team will be collecting food donations every Saturday through November, between noon and 3 p.m. at the Kroger Fayetteville Towne Center. The food will be distributed by the Salvation Army in Atlanta.

Dr. Segal is also donating his first visit and evaluation through Nov. 26 in exchange for a $25 donation to the Feed the Homeless Outreach. Dr. Segal will also accept donations at Lighthouse Chiropractic for the Feed the Homeless Outreach from the general public. For additional information, call Dr. Segal at 770-460-6700.
