Wedding Announcements


Gray-Reimer

Jim and Jeannine Gray of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Nicole, to Gerald John Reimer III, son of Rocky and Debbie Reimer of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Fred Davis of Ducktown, Tenn., and the late Ginny Davis, and Thomas Gray and Mrs. Ramona Gray of Senoia. She is a 1998 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2002 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. She was a member of the Phi Mu sorority and was chosen as the Dream Girl for the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. She is employed by John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth Flandreau and the late Herbert Flandreau of Westport, Conn., and Mrs. Martha Reimer of Tuscola, Ill., and the late Gerald John Reimer Sr. He is a 1998 graduate of Landmark Christian School. He attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tenn., on a baseball scholarship. He currently attends Mechanical Trades Institute, pursuing training as an HVAC service technician. He is employed by F&S Mechanical and Plumbing in Tyrone.
The wedding will be in late December at Turin Baptist Church, with a reception following at the Hollingsworth House in Fayetteville.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and Orlando, the couple will reside in McDonough.

Smith-Herdic

Allen and Brenda Smith of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Leigh, to Scott Lucas Herdic, son of John and Carol Herdic of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Bell of Hapeville and Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Smith, also of Hapeville. She is a 1998 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2002 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in corporate journalism. She is employed as an editor at Chartwell, a research and publication firm in Atlanta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Glen and Teresa Weber of Peachtree City and James Herdic and the late Ann Herdic of Manchester, Conn. He is a 1998 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2003 high honors graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he currently is pursuing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering.
The wedding is planned for May, 2004, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
