Rotary fundraiser
is this weekend
The Southern Crescent Rotary
Council will have a fantastic evening out at the New Georgia International
Convention Center in College Park this Saturday. The evening will feature
music, a buffet and a silent and live auction.
This event, which lasts from 7-9:30 p.m., is for the benefit of The Southwest
Christian Hospice & Hope House and the new Field of Hope now under
construction in Peachtree City. When completed, the Field of Hope will
provide baseball playing opportunities for handicapped children from all
of the South Metro Atlanta area and beyond.
The Southwest Christian Hospice & Hope House ministries already provide
important care for terminally ill patients and respite care for handicapped
children from through out the South Metro area.
The fabulous buffet will be provided by by Proof of the Pudding and marvelous
Big Band and Contemporary music provided by the Peachtree Jazz Edition.
Many fine auction items will be offered for sale, including a Caribbean
cruise, air travel tickets, a new golf cart, helicopter tour, framed art,
an Oriental rug, special jewelry, small appliances, restaurant gift certificates,
luxury condo get-away stays, home decorating items, collectables, professional
service gift certificates, sports memorabilia items, and much, much more.
