The Daughters of the American Revolution, is in the process of organizing a new chapter.
Non-DAR women, age 18 and over, who have a Revolutionary ancestor who served as a soldier or patriot between 1776 and 1783 are eligible to join.
The evening meetings will be held in homes of members so working women and mothers with young children can attend.
The DAR is a 113 year-old non-political, service society that serves the community in historical, educational, and patriotic endeavors.
Current members will be happy to provide genealogical assistance in tracing your ancestor.
The organizing regent is Marilyn Frazar and she can be reached at 678-364-9397 for information.
