Women to meet Sat.
The Fayette County Democratic
Women will have their kickoff breakfast Saturday, Nov. 1, at 9 a.m. at
Right on Thyme Restaurant and Catering, 174 North Glynn Street, Fayetteville.
The cost is based on one’s order off the menu.
The Fayette County Democratic Women is a group dedicated to promoting
political involvement among the women of Fayette County. Within the framework
of the Democratic Party platform, women involved in this group will become
informed about political issues affecting them at all levels, be encouraged
to seek political office and/or to support other Democratic women in their
bids for public office, and to become more politically active within
their community.
Interim officers are Heidi Vaisvil, Chair; Karin Barber, First Vice Chair;
Karen Kilgo, Second Vice Chair; and Michelle Spears, Secretary/Treasurer. Executive
officers will be elected at the kick-off breakfast.
